Dr. Mónica Vicente Rocha is a family physician with over 15 years of clinical experience across Spain and Portugal, including private practice serving international expat communities in Andalucía. That experience spans hospital and emergency care, pre-hospital and critical care medicine, and family practice. Her work today centers on prevention, continuity, and long-term patient relationships, with clinical interests in women’s health, supplementation, and orthomolecular nutrition.

Dr. Isadora Ávila is a physician with experience in adult and paediatric emergency medicine and in telemedicine, across hospitals in Portugal and Brazil. At TejoMed she provides continuous remote support so that guidance between appointments stays seamless. Guided by the principles of longevity, she brings her own interest in fitness and active living into a holistic approach to patient well-being. She holds a Master's degree in Medicine and is fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.

She trained and qualified in Portugal and has practised in Spain and Angola.

Dr. Bianca Silvestre is a Family Medicine resident with a focus on preventive care, maternal and child health, and digital health innovation. At TejoMed she supports patients asynchronously, leads our travel medicine consultations, and contributes to the development of our care model. She holds a Bachelor's in Health Sciences, an Integrated Master's in Medicine, and a postgraduate degree in Health Consulting, and is completing a Master's in Managing Digital Transformation in the Health Sector.

Joana Ferreira brings extensive nursing experience combined with specialised training in functional medicine, exercise science, and therapeutic massage. She develops personalised wellness protocols using evidence-based strategies to optimise metabolic health and support overall well-being. She holds a Bachelor's in Nursing with additional training in diabetic foot care, massage therapy, and exercise science, and is a certified personal trainer registered as a nurse in both Portugal and Ireland.

Jo Pinho is a registered nurse with over 14 years of experience, focused on acute and critical care and on the management of chronic conditions. She is known for delivering calm, confident, and compassionate care in high-pressure environments, supporting patients with a strong emphasis on safety and continuity. She has also worked as a cruise ship nurse, managing diverse medical situations in dynamic settings, and complements her clinical background with knowledge in business management, contributing to organised and patient-centred care.
